I became, in my own mind, part of this family. And they've looked after me with all my needs and it's made me very happy.
MACG is family owned. From humble beginnings in 1995, we've become one of Australia's leading privately owned companies providing aged care services. We have grown our business with a special focus on building relationships—both with our residents and their families, as well as staff. The result is a collection of homes filled with vibrant and connected communities.
Everything you need to know about aged care, from budgeting to elder rights. We'll bust myths and answer questions, so you can make an informed decision.
If you're seeking aged care, or know someone who is, knowing the rights of older people is vital. The Commission can help. Talk to our experts for more advice.
Residents across the MACG homes prepared for Remembrance Day by knitting or crafting poppies and wreaths and making lamingtons.
The theme was to bring a touch of Europe (Italy) with rolling hills and cypress trees in an exuberant hue of orange, yellow and green
Our mission is to create aged care homes and communities with the residents at the forefront.
We have built our company based on family values. This means promoting feelings of togetherness and belonging in all of our homes, so our residents and team form close-knit communities. We also pride ourselves on conducting fearless conversations, treating our residents with the utmost respect, and providing constant training and development for our care teams.
We care about others and seek to understand our residents' life and journey.
We take responsibility for what we do and we are honest in the way we do it.
Family and family values are at the heart of everything we do.
We recognise the value and uniqueness of each person.
We demonstrate honesty, trustworthiness, and ethics in all we do.
We promote care, compassion, and consideration in the way we work.
Our actions embrace the true worth of every resident, carer, and family member.
Each of our 8 homes supports Cancer Council, Beyond Blue, local RSL clubs and Dementia Australia. In addition to this, many of our residents volunteer their time and skills to knit scarves or make arts and crafts to sell at local markets. All proceeds raised in these fundraisers are donated to their charity of choice.
